London mayor Sadiq Khan brought together officials from Network Rail, Transport for London and Wembley Stadium to ensure a 10,000 increase in capacity for the fight.
That means the contest for Joshua's IBF title and the vacant WBA 'super' and IBO heavyweight crowns on April 29 will be seen by a post-war record crowd of 90,000.

The Carl Froch-George Groves rematch at Wembley in 2014 currently holds the post-war attendance record with 80,000, Joshua vs Klitschko Live Stream while 90,000 is the all-time British record figure; set when Len Harvey fought Jock McAvoy at White City in London in 1939.

I can't wait to see the fight of the year here in London and it's fantastic that a post-war record crowd will get to watch it at a world-class venue like Wembley," said Khan.

I'm delighted Transport for London and Network Rail have pulled out all the stops to make this happen so we can move 90,000 people around the capital quickly and safely.

Like me, they have recognised the Joshua vs Klitschko Live Stream importance to the capital of staging this epic showdown of the best two fighters in the heavyweight division and I look forward to our great city staging more great fights in the future."

I want to thank Wembley, TfL and Brent Council and particularly Sadiq Khan, who has fought our corner to ensure a capacity crowd will get the opportunity to watch this event live in the capital," said Eddie Hearn.
At the boxing writers' dinner last year, Sadiq urged me to bring the biggest fights possible to the city and I'm delighted to have the biggest fight in British boxing history at Wembley Stadium on April 29.

THE scale of the Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko heavyweight world title fight is staggering. The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan confirmed that the capacity for the live event at Wembley Stadium has been expanded to 90,000 seats.

Eddie Hearn, the promoter, revealed the level of demand to Boxing News. “When we sold the last ticket online for the last batch we had 34,000 people in the online queuing system trying to get tickets. Joshua vs Klitschko Live So if you’re working off an average of just under three [tickets per sale], that’s another sell out there with people trying to get tickets,” Hearn said.

Froch-Groves was obviously an eye-opener but we’re a lot more advanced than we were when we went on sale with Froch-Groves. Now we can monitor things to see the actual size of the demand. Things like online queuing systems and stuff like that just shows you the pure demand. It’s incredible. It’s not an exaggeration, we could have sold it out all over again.

I think this could be a little bit of a one off, who’s to say Brook-Khan couldn’t achieve the same numbers as well.”
Ticket sales are an indicator of pay-per-view buys. “I think it will break all records on UK pay-per-view, which is held at around 1.15 million,” Hearn said. “Don’t forget if it’s at the O2 it’s 16,000 so you’ve got 74,000 more people in the arena, who would be buying it on pay-per-view. I just think the fascination of actually seeing 90,000 at a fight at the national stadium, I think that’s part of the fascination.

Groves-Froch did mid 800,000s, so I think with Joshua’s profile and Klitschko, I really think this could break all the records.
The IBF champion's unbeaten record will receive its most stringent examining when he opposes Klitschko, the second-longest reigning heavyweight title-holder ever, live on Sky Sports Box Office at the national stadium on April 29.I tried to play it down, I'm quite like that - 'It's only another fight'," Joshua told Sky Sports News HQ.

Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sports Promotion recently said in an interview that the next intended goal after Anthony Joshua potentially beats Wladimir Klitschko, is to go after Deontay Wilder.

Per Boxing Scene Hearn said, “Wilder against Joshua can be built into a huge fight. Two undefeated, fast, big-punching heavyweights. But I think at the moment, the pure focus, because of the toughness of the fight, has to be Wladimir Klitschko. You come through, and it’s no turning back, it’s big fights only.”

With Hearn also wanting to do cards Klitschko vs Joshua Live Stream in the U.S., could this fight end up stateside, or will it end up across the pond?

Sky Sports Head of Boxing Adam Smith said: "This is the fight the boxing world has been waiting for. Can the young lion, Anthony Joshua, rise to the challenge and conquer the former and long reigning king of the heavyweights Wladimir Klitschko?

The 19th fight of Joshua's pro career now promises to a stunning occasion, as the former IBF, WBA and WBO title-holder Klitschko visits the national stadium.

It is one of the biggest fights in the most glamorous division and it is on. At Wembley Stadium! What a stage for our sport, what a build-up in store and what a night it's going to be on April 29th.
Barry Hearn says a mega fight between Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder is likely for late 2017 providing he beats Wladimir Klitschko.
Anthony Joshua could target a unification clash against Deontay Wilder if he wins his Wembley fight with Wladimir Klitschko, says Barry Hearn.
IBF champion Joshua can add the vacant Klitschko vs Joshua Live WBA 'super' title when he faces Klitschko in front of an expected sell out crowd at the national stadium on April 29, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Matchroom Sport chairman Hearn believes Joshua will stake his claim as the world's best heavyweight by defeating Klitschko and hopes he will end the year with a Las Vegas fight against WBC champion Wilder.

Politically, boxing is always difficult, because there are so many different governing bodies and so many different mandatories that inevitably at some stage you are forced to give up a belt, rather than have them all under control of one heavyweight. The fight for me to close the year would be Deontay Wilder against Anthony Joshua in one of those barnstorming Las Vegas nights.

Barry Hearn,I think the fight we would all like to see and assuming that Deontay Wilder can do a little better on his own promotion, because he's not a big enough draw in America, let alone outside.

Tyson Fury was previously recognised as the No 1 in the division after defeating Klitschko on points and Hearn hopes he will return to the sport for a lucrative fight against Joshua.Tyson Fury has not fought since he took Klitschko's titles in November 2015

Of course there is a certain Mr Tyson Fury, who one day is going to come back and is going to want to earn some serious money," said Hearn. The only serious money in the heavyweight division is Anthony Joshua and money talks in boxing.

Joshua must first overcome Klitschko, who has vowed to regain two of his world titles, but Hearn expects the British champion to herald the start of a dominant reign in the division.Hearn (right) has predicted that Klitschko will suffer a crushing defeat against Joshua

Hearn said: "Wladimir Klitschko stands in his way on April 29 and I think it's going to be a very painful night for Mr Klitschko, because I don't know how you defend, or how you beat Anthony Joshua.

Too physically strong, too fast, and he Klitschko vs Joshua Live Stream hits too hard. The fight is part of an already great 2017 of boxing on Sky Sports Box Office, with David Haye taking on arch rival Tony Bellew on 4 March at London's O2 Arena.[source]
